Hello everybody! How are the Easter holidays going?
Today I wanted to share with you an interesting and free online course named Education for all: disability, diversity and inclusion. This course is a MOOC and it takes 3 hours per week during 6 weeks to finish it. The University of Cape Town has designed it specially for teachers and educators that want to learn practical strategies to make education inclusive.
But for those who don't know what a MOOC is, it is a Massive Open Online Course in which course materials such as filmed lectures, readings, videos and interactive forums are provided in order to support community interactions among students, professors and teaching assistants. They are organised by well-known universities from all over the world, and the best is that they are free of charge! You will only have to pay for a fee (20 to 40€) if you want to receive a Statement of Participation when you complete the course.
I think that it is a great opportunity to broaden our knowledge about this important issue. It starts now, so don't miss it! I really expect to hear from you if you finally take it!
XOXO
Elisa
